Description

Grub in the Hub: Maximizing Community Impact

Get the most from your community relationships by implementing a customer-centric approach to your acquisition and retention plan. (Works great for developing your talent stack too.)

There are some questions that new companies always have when it comes to exploring community centric approaches to customer (and employee) acquisition and retention.
• Why is developing community important?
• Who should I hire for a community role? (What should I be paying them?)
• What should a community manager be doing?
• It's just my core team (or just me), what can I do right now?
• How do I measure success?

While you eat, Crystal will answer these questions and then turn it over to you to dig deeper into the areas where you're most keen on concentrating.

**Warning: Will require your most authentic, grittiest self to develop fruitful, long term relationships.**

About our Guest Speaker:

Crystal Henrickson

Crystal Henrickson is a community strategist and oft-time activator, who constructs community programs and outfits teams for startups and lifestyle businesses like Yelp, Chimp and Toyota BC. She coaches founders and community managers on building community-centric organizations, recruits for community manager roles, and is an advisor and instructor for UBC’s Community Manager program.

You can also find her playing an agent in employee happiness, organizing community events like #dinnerpartyYVR, or dabbling in a DIY project.
